Bob Iverson - Retired
Our business (originally Iverson Opticians) has been family owned for 65 years and Bob Iverson opened the present location with his father in 1973. Working together they developed a successful practice and optical business that was based on providing the highest quality of care and services. Bob has 40 years of experience as an optician skilled in both ophthalmic dispensing and laboratory processing. By offering a wide range of optical goods, including the newest designer trends and exclusive frame lines, our optical dispensary continues to serve the greater O’Fallon community.

Dr. Scott A. Tomasino
Dr. Scott Tomasino is a Cum Laude graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. Clinical training included low vision rotations at the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and the New York Lighthouse for the Blind. He was Director of Contact Lens Services for St. Louis Eye Clinic until 1998 before moving his St. Louis based practice to O’Fallon, changing the business name to Iverson-Tomasino Eyecare. Dr. Tomasino is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Asssociation and a Past-President of the St. Louis Optometric Society, a local organization of approximately 200 optometrists. He also served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor for the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry from 1998-2007 and was a member of the board of directors for the Heart Of America Contact Lens and Primary Care Society from 2004-2010. Dr. Goerss and Dr. Gagnon both trained with Dr. Tomasino through clinical externship at Iverson-Tomasino Eyecare.

Dr. Robert G. Goerss
Dr. Robert Goerss joined Iverson-Tomasino Eyecare upon graduation from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in 2001 and quickly built a successful practice. Dr. Goerss became a full parnter with Dr. Tomasino in January 2009 and the practice became Iverson-Tomasino-Goerss Eyecare Associates. Clinical experience includes rotations at both the John Cochran and Jefferson Barracks VA hospitals, assisting with the eyecare needs of the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues, and developing skills in fitting specialty contact lenses and focusing on the latest technology in the treatment of ocular disease. He is a Past-President of the St. Louis Optometric Socitey and is an active member of the Missouri Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Dr. Goerss has presented the latest ophthalmic tehcnology on behalf of Alcon Laboratories, Ciba Vision, and Vistakon. He was given the 2004 Young Optometrist Of The Year Award by the Missouri Optometric Association.

Dr. Erin C. Gagnon
Dr. Erin Gagnon graduated with honors from the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry in 2008. She gained experience during her training through clinical rotations including the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital, Chickasaw Nation Indian Health Services in Oklahoma, and the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Gagnon also attended the Vistakon Eye Care Institute in Florida where she received extensive training in the area of contact lenses. Dr. Gagnon is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Assiciation, Women of Vision, and the St. Louis Optometric Society. Her clinical skills emphasize pediatric vision, contact lens fitting techniques, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. She joined us in May 2008 and is adding to the continued growth of the practice.
